Crisis Comms - AwarenessThis is an advanced interactive course that provides Senior Leaders with a good understanding of how to deal with the Press during a Crisis.

It includes the opportunities to start putting together a crisis media strategy and be interviewed on camera.
The objectives of this training course are to provide participants with the ability to:
  • Engage in workshop discussions about dealing with the Press during a Crisis
  • Understand how the Press will operate during a Crisis
  • Understand how the main Social Media platforms are used in a crisis alongside traditional media
  • Know how to prepare for a media interview
  • Experience simulated interviews with the press and receive individual feedback in a group setting

This course is aimed at senior leaders who will be tasked with dealing with the press in a crisis.
It is limited to a maximum of six delegates to ensure they take back useful skills and practical strategies for use in their own business or organisation and enable the trainer to provide each with personal coaching in a group setting.

This two-day interactive and practical course is lead by Anna Averkiou on behalf of Horizonscan Ltd in partnership with the Fire Service College for its School of Resilience (SoR) arm.
